Women Advocacy for Transformation Uganda Ltd (WAFTU) is a dedicated empowerment organization committed to creating a healthy and thriving community of women and children. With a primary focus on improving the health and well-being of children under 5 years, school dropout girls, pregnant women, and women, WAFTU works to bridge gaps in healthcare, education, economic empowerment, protection from violence, and nutrition. The organization runs healthcare programs aimed at improving maternal and child health, including prenatal care, immunizations, and access to reproductive health services. It also promotes economic empowerment by supporting women's entrepreneurship, offering vocational training, and providing microfinance programs to enhance economic opportunities for women. WAFTU is committed to protection and rights, addressing gender-based violence, raising legal rights awareness, and advocating for women's and children's rights.
